Jim River Fencing works out of Irene, in the far southeast corner of South Dakota - James River country, an easy drive from Yankton, Vermillion, and the whole I-29 corridor. Most of those 130 annual miles go into SD ground, from river-bottom pasture to open range.

Irene sits under an hour's drive from the Nebraska border, and NE is printed on the card right after SD. Northeast Nebraska ranch and feedlot country is regular ground for the crew - the state line is a sign on the road, not a service boundary.

North Dakota is the card's third state, and it fits the operation's strength: long, uninterrupted runs across big country. When a job is measured in miles instead of feet, a crew that once stretched 147 miles in 18 days is the right phone call.
