01What kind of fence do you build?
Farm, ranch, feedlot, and commercial fencing - that's straight off our card. High-tensile barbwire is the specialty, and we also run woven wire, continuous panel and corrals, feedlot windbreak, chain link, gates, and H-braces. If it holds stock or marks a boundary in the Dakotas, we build it.
02How far will you travel?
All of South Dakota, Nebraska, North Dakota, and the surrounding areas. We're based in Irene, SD, and the crew is on the road most of the season - distance is a planning detail, not a problem.
03How much fence can you actually get done?
Over 130 miles of fence goes in the ground every year. In August 2023 the crew put up 147 miles across an 18-day run. Big jobs don't scare us; that's the lane we built the operation for.
04What posts do you use?
CCA .60 pressure-treated posts - treated to ground-contact spec so the fence's foundation doesn't rot out from under good wire. Corners and ends get H-braces built heavy enough to hold a stretched line for the long haul.
05What does an estimate cost?
